What do you mean? We have the meth wars in Melbourne back in the early 2000s between two literal organized crime syndicates, the St Kilda police station raid where the police were found to be hoarding guns and drugs in the ceiling. That's just off the top of my head. I haven't lived in Melbourne since 2008 but I imagine there's more that's happened since.

I am not as familiar with Australia but organized crime runs rampant in both the US and EU. It might just not be what you are expecting. In New Zealand, over the last say, 10ish years at a guess, we've had a gradual but continual increase in organised crime activity - and an escalation in violence.
Because Australia started deporting non-citizens who had been jailed for 12 months+ (I think? Or, 12 months+, or could've been jailed for 5+ years or something, even if you weren't). And for historical "fun facts about Australia" racism-by-proxy reasons, very few Kiwis who've lived in Australia all their lives have been able to gain citizenship. So there's been numerous Australian criminals deported to NZ. Among them, Australian organised crime members. Around the same time NZ was getting into methamphetamine, a profitable and growing demand. And well, what do you when you're good at something that makes money, and you need money?
So we have seen establishment of chapters of Australian bikie gangs that we never had here before, and they're expanding into areas someone already called dibs on. Deportees have also joined the existing gangs, and the Australian veterans bring two key things to the table - access to networks of suppliers with good product, who didn't bother with NZ before, an effective distribution network, and the ability to provide guns and the means to get them past the ports.
The Aussies also brought Aussie gang culture - they were also a lot more shooty than the Kiwi gangs (although there were alway periodic flare-ups) and so when they starting shooting early in the argument, everyone else followed suit, now there's a lot of gang members being shot by gang members when previously might've been a stabbing or a good beating.
But yeah, no organised crime in Aussie lol. Certainly not organised crime that has often in the past compromised state police forces. To be fair, GDP just means someone's making money there, doesn't mean it's staying in the economy.
If we worked out something like unsanitary housing occupation rate per capita, I'd consider that a better measure of "wealthy country".
