#35Is there a chance for chat instead of video call? I like the idea but I'm not exposing myself in video. I know it "ruins" the experience but each one to its own.
I understand how you feel but I don't think anything can replace looking into another human's eyes.

is what it is... chatroulette and co all have similar behavior. too many rules and you lose users.
I'm okay with losing users. I only want users who enjoy long discussions about deep questions. That's the target audience of the app. If you have no standards, you devolve into ChatRoulette. More users, but very little value.
I had one awkward conversation and then one person quit in the first second.
Omegle was the same for text. Either I'd quit when I saw "ASL?" or they'd quit when I replied.

Are you good at making friends yourself? This fake empathy "I understand you" then ignoring their view is quiet alienating. People have been giving you realistic feedback in this thread (Virus Cafe is a terrible name and seems hyperfocused on a trend that is on its way out) and you've just been blowing them off.
