Great strawman; keep trucking I never said anything about obligation. Of course they’re not obliged to provide extra jobs, but it is a moral obligation to treat those whom you employ with dignity. I would love to understand what you actually define as a moral obligation considering your vacuous response.

There's nothing undignified about terminating excess at-will employees.

it is the richest country in the world, mate. Every citizen should get a comfortable life, not just a $1,000 check. But most of the money must go to the military and Wall Street.

You know the military is composed of citizens right? Our largest spending category is Social Security at 22%, Medicare at 14%, and then there's Veterans Benefits at 6%. So most of the money spent is for the people. Defense is 13%.

That’s a completely absurd number. No single person making just under $100k a year is living in poverty. Even in a high cost of living area. The article also repeatedly discussed median salaries, but average costs. And it includes full time daycare costs for young children that only last for a few years. Also housing prices are high but you can certainly afford an apartment as a single person making $100k a year. But…

It's literally for a family of four requiring childcare. Do you know how much childcare costs? try reading the article
