Anthropic's incessant cuts to CC rate limits/quota on the Claude Pro plan have nearly pushed me to cancel. Of course they are. The two things aren’t contradictory at all, in fact one strongly implies the other. If AI is writing 90% of your code, that means the total contribution of a developer is 10× the code they would write without AI. It’s pretty crazy that Amazon’s $8B investment didn’t even get them a board seat. It’s basically a lot of cloud credits though. I bet both Google and Amazon invested in Anthropic at least partially to stress test and harden their own AI / GPU offerings. They now have a good showcase.

It was "writing 90% of the code", which seems to be pretty accurate, if not conservative, for those keeping up with the latest tools.
