This has to be a "you are holding it wrong" situation. I use my macbook on the desk, on my lap, on my chest laying on my back, and have never once gotten to thinking parts of it should be filed down.
People are different: my hands are big and on my preferred laptop sizes (13-14"), laptop edges cut into my palms when my fingers are on the home row. Others' anatomy might be different in other ways. #231I still don't see it. I am replying to this after scrolling with my laptop halfway up my belly and my palm rest directly on this supposedly too sharp edge. I just don't see what people are doing to induce pain and cuts.
