If you have access to wikipedia you could learn that neither of those statements are accurate. It has 6x more players than the first few months of 2016.
That is not what you think it means. It does not have 60 million current players. It has 60 million people who have played it since the open beta. Activision does not release active player counts, but every secondary metric (OWL viewership, Twitch, subreddit participation, other sites that track this) show that it’s active player count has gone down.
