I think that’s a bad idea because I don’t want people to think watching video on a computer is okay. Video (movies) should be enjoyed on a big screen with a good screen. These platforms should give creators a way to prohibit viewing on small screens, Linux, etc.
And as for blocking the most popular video playing platform out there - at least for large screens - the only question would be “why”
