What is BitMEX - and why do we exist?

BitMEX is a derivatives trading platform that offers investors opportunities using only Bitcoin. We are not a spot exchange where you can buy Bitcoin with USD or other fiat currencies. Across the globe, and particularly in Asia, we have over half a million open accounts, of which approximately 100,000 belong to active users.
