If it's someone's job to dump raw industrial waste in the river, and stricter environmental regulations cause them to lose their job, I'm ok with that. That's why we have unemployment benefits, and why most countries do things like have health care that's separate from employment.

I think there should be policies in place to help people who lose their jobs for whatever reason.
