Not just selling alcohol, "transactions". Which means no more swaps. Trading local brews or homebrews are fun communities, and they just got wiped out with zero warning.
That is insane, and either an oversight, or deal with large breweries.

Security on most mobile devices other than those by Apple is a joke. I understand wanting features that aren’t there, but for me these things are very small and easy to work around relative to the benefits iOS provides: namely that the software is generally advanced and high quality.

Remembering that macOS bug with empty password root access, I'd say that Apple security QC had degraded a lot.

While I'm a supporter of the right to have guns there is one thing I like to recommend to everyone: store it safely. If you already do this, great. If not, I'd recommend taking at least some small precautions: It can be as little as just taking away a important part and store it in a good locker somewhere else in your house or even just hide it or you can do like me and get a weapons safe approved by the insurance in…
It comes across patronizing when you tell others what to do without having the slightes clue about their situation. His gun might not be working, he might even have no bullets at all. Still you go on about how he should by some weapons approved locker even so you have no idea where he is storing it right now. Just don't make so many assumptions about other people.

Aside from android being easier to root, don’t the top-tier android phones have all of the other problems too? Genuine question.
Top-tier Samsungs have it all, LG as well, in "upper midrange" Oneplus and Huawei have it.

Sure it is. It's not a 1st Amendment issue, true. But—generically—it is a free speech issue. Reddit is adding more rules about what you can and can't post, which affects how free the speech is on their platform.
They are entirely within their rights to do this. No doubt. Voat does not have as many (any?) restrictions on the content users can post. The speech is freer on their platform.
I may sound pedantic on this, but I think it's important to fight for freedoms even when they're not enshrined in law. So to grandparent's point, the bigots are often the ones who do so, as a matter of necessity. Now the gun, beer, and cigar aficionados are finding themselves in the same category as Nazis and Klansmen.

Though knowing that, both reddit and youtube modelled their business around reinforcement and segregation of biased groups (echo-chambers), all the while promoting themselves as _the_ platforms of the free (speech) internet. Turns out ousting such groups is okay- just like axing a product, no?
