#24I'm not entirely sure what to make out of the last ending - I personally got a feeling that this was a demonstration of trying to escape addiction. Stereotypically gamers enjoy games because they are empowered in the gaming world, which could be something that they lack in the physical world. Understanding that addiction and getting to the root of a friend's problems can help them break that.
I don't think that's exactly what the author intended, but that's what I got out of it. shrug
