Plenty calm. The context of the past 100 years of Jews being slaughtered by the millions kind of does have to do with this conflict. 100% denounce Hamas for slaughtering Jewish people in their own homes. 100% denounce the Israeli government's treatment of Gaza. My heart breaks for civilians of Israel and civilians of Palestine.

That's good. But again the Holocaust is something was done to Jews by the German Nazis. You cannot just hold that against other people. If you feel that someone needs to pay the price then you might advocate for a Jewish state in German. That would be more suitable. That's a discussion that we can have and could disagree but not here.

But for now this is a post about potential ongoing genocide. Nothing justifies that and bringing the atrocities committed in the past against Jews are not suitable because it can be easily be interpreted as justification (they are not). And your choice of words is biased "slaughtering Jewish people in their own homes" vs "Israeli government's treatment of Gaza" does not capture the reality of the atrocities. But that's fine I did not expect that anyway.

Orders don't mean much when there's videos of Hamas taking care of Israeli babies literally taken care of them as if they were babysitting. Releasing women multiple places. I think the Western perspective is the 5% of real terrorism is not cool. It’s not really a media manipulation thing.

The Western perspective is wagging a finger at the exceptional excesses carried out by individuals participating in a slave revolt, in a prison break from a concentration camp, and turning a blind eye to the explicit and intentional targeting of civilians by Israel in carpet bombing residential areas.

Hamas has the stated aim of jihad in their official charter, targets civilians, and quite literally wants to murder every "Zionist" (even those in America). That is their actual stance. It's insane and why they are recognized as a terrorist organization by many countries.

They use ambulances, schools, and other civilian cover to smuggle weapons and launch terrorist attacks.

What exactly do you expect the IDF to do? Let it pass? Ask Hamas to please step away from the civilians so they can be targeted?

Well, the latter is exactly what the IDF has done routinely, and paid for it in Israeli blood. Enough is enough.

Instead of blaming Israel, maybe start asking why the rest of the Arab/Muslim world like Egypt and Jordan won't take Hamas in their borders. Ask why the UN turns a blind eye to the UNRWA who use funds earmarked for medicine to purchase weapons.

The humanitarian crisis is severe and horrible. Nobody is denying that. However, it is not Israel's responsibility to enable Hamas anymore. They want to use human shields, then maybe those humans shouldn't have elected a freaking psychotic terrorist organization to be their government in the first place. It's still sad, and horrible that innocent people die in war.

Again- Egypt and Jordan can easily prevent this.

Hell, tell Jordan to carve off a chunk of their lot from the British Mandate of Palestine, without encroaching on the ancient Jewish promised land, and this whole damn problem goes away.
