Wait, is shipping that expensive in the US? As an individual in Germany I pay 5,50€ for DHL (2kg, tracking, insurance up to 500€). As a business customer it's even cheaper.

#27Apparently, the reviews in Amazon tells AX1500 is a lemon. AX1800 probably fixes a few things but still problematic:

I suspect the more salient point is that a 5$ router that you can't get for less than 18$ is not a 5$ router.
I get that, but moving an object from a warehouse to your home isn't free.
The router itself costs $5.
I added another product to my cart and the shipping charge went away; the line price for this router is still $5.
So, yes, it is a $5 router.

No, I'm aware it's still going to be $18. But you wouldn't try to argue about the point if you ordered on Amazon or whatever and picked multiple items and the shipping was still $13 lol.
