Does anyone know how they do the streaming audio generally? Just streaming websockets I presume?

No one who matters would allow themselves to be caught using an Android. It's like using a Windows laptop and calling yourself a "software engineer". Or being a teen and not rocking $300 sneakers.

Yup. I just learned this as well while inadvertently missing out on a 'mining bitcoin with micro nuclear reactors in space' session I was invited to.
Sure, you might be able to go around a lot of regulation, but keeping the reactors cool would be complicated, unless in space means some non-Earth planetary body. Titans atmosphere or the oceans on Europa are pretty cold. Of course that way the bitcoin transaction processing time would get even longer due to light speed delay.

#27If the author is here, can I ask how you use PubNub with Agora? As in what specific thing does PubNub do to help you communicate state information that you can't do by writing to a (say firebase) backend.

Social music playing/DJing experience with avatars and a chat is basically what I am after. I have a group of friends that I think might enjoy this type of thing but Turntable.fm pivoted years ago and Plug.dj, while being able to link to YouTube seems to require an API key which these non-tech folks won’t be abl…
There's an app Roadtrip, you need a premium spotify account though.
