Given SSC, its subreddit and its (Scott-recommended) offshoot /r/themotte, this is a case of the beam in one's own eye. Same problem with LessWrong - the best of Yudkowsky refutes the typical of Yudkowsky.
Are there so many global warming denialists on r/SSC that it repudiates the concept of rationality?
