I’d actually love to get into it. Not even a CS major. Time hasn’t been on my side lately but I always peer in on these threads to try and improve the scope of my understanding even a little.

Yes it’s easy to say as a hobby. I’d love to get into nuclear physics as a hobby too. How about 40-50 hrs per week for the next 25 years? Haha doubt it

No actually. There are a lot of aspects that attract me to the field.

I’ve been angling to get back to university for physics to compliment the pursuit as well. (Unfortunately, easier said than done once life starts getting in the way)

So—no, not just as a hobby. I’m surprised you think it’s so detestable. I love making things work. That runs end-to-end for me.
