I'm not sure. I made an app for late drinking and got the data from Google and Foursquare APIs. But I don't think they'd have sustainability in the database. I didn't progress much further with my bar app but how I would probably proceed with that or your project is to start with the data out there and then either curate it manually or try to get feedback from your users as to whether the places are good.
