I run https://snipt.net , one of the sites listed as being blocked, and I've never received any communication from anyone with the Indian government or ISPs. So they're not proactively doing anything to unblock these sites, as far as I can tell.

Don't expect the people from India to contact you. They are just too dumb to do this. People who makes such decision have no knowledge of internet and what are good and bad sites. PS - I am an Indian

The Oklahoma City bombing was considered terrorism.

That bombing may also be considered an "inside job". The demolition was due to bombs inside the building.

And the meaning of terrorism, as it will always be for lapdogs of the bully with the most power, is violence and intimidation which hurts either them or the bully they toady to. The collective of terrorists is always many powers of ten smaller in operational capability than the power they oppose. If the collective is of proportionate size and capacity, we no longer call them terrorists, although we may still describe their actions as terroristic or supportive of terrorist groups.

It's not that hard to figure out; we already know it. Terrorists are the cowardly, evil people who bomb us; but we ourselves never do terrorism. That is how the word has been used, and probably always will be used, even though there will always be objective thinkers who notice semantic hypocrisy or contradiction in definition/usage of the term.

People getting the inside luxury benefits of living under empire call the outsiders who use violence and fear "terrorist"; the leaders of the empire absolutely encourage this usage. Self-serving hypocrisy allows many people to actually believe that there is something terribly wrong with those who take terrorist actions, but on the other hand many people also suspect or fully realize that the outsider terrorists aren't "terribly wrong" in the head or the morals; many of the same people who live as imperial insiders would actually feel like, and even be moved to act, as the outsiders do if they themselves were outsiders.

You do realize that it's the Indian government at issue here, right?

I would argue that the indian government is doing this at the pressure from the united states government.

If they contact me, I'll happily remove anything even remotely "pro terrorist group ISIS", but as mentioned, I've received no such requests (and I don't proactively review private snippets for offensive content unless it's reported to me).

Do you have a terms of service and/or privacy policy? I can't locate it.

Wow, I'm the autor of 0bin.net (it's an encrypted pastebin written in python). Kinda feel weird to see your (really) small pastebin get caught in that. It's insane. Well, it's open source and easy to install, anybody can duplicate it if needed so I guess it's ok. Maybe we should add some way to replicate one instance content to other trusted instances to avoid this problem.

It is open source on another website that is ... blocked. Funny. For the curious: https://github.com/sametmax/0bin

Replication would be cool feature.
