The future is now. At least the 5 next minutes, but then it will keep changing and what you do with an intended expire time of at least a year will be badly obsolete and moldy in a month. That is the problem doing end user hardware tied to a technology that is changing very fast and where most of the innovation may be out of your sight, being carried by your main competitors.
If it's a cloud device, like most people here are speculating it is, then the hardware doesn't matter that much.
There are other worries, such as privacy and keeping the cloud alive, though, but the hardware doesn't seem to be the limiting factor here.
