https://usebottles.com/ These have been around since I last used WINE in anger on macOS. Basically think of it as a container for running an app in WINE with all the settings predefined for best compatibility. The homepage doesn’t really highlight this but you can look through the docs for more information.

Have you used it/would you recommend it? It's been a long time since I used wine (or any windows software really... Yay!) but I'm sure the requirement will pop up again sooner or later. Should I check out bottles the next time it comes up?

I used it a decade ago and it was handy at the time. I’d hope it got better over time. Generally I know enough about how Windows works I didn’t have much trouble using normal Wine installations of software but the bottles did make some Adobe products easier to use.

It was funny being able to use Photoshop 7 in Wine but not the native macOS version.

Actually good for your blood flow with potential flow on effect for your BP. Personally taking Omega-3 and magnesium supp…

Thanks for the info. Will look into the potassium enriched salt.

I am having issues with hypertension and purchased one of these: https://hilo.com You put on a cuff (supplied) to calibrate it, and then you wear a little gadget on your wrist. It takes frequent measurements throughout the day and night when it senses you aren't moving. It then syncs with your phone to store the results. Its a little pricey, but seems to work well[1]. And it avoids the faff of a pressure cuff[2] and…

how accurate is this?

I've had it a couple of weeks now. it is very convenient. However I am starting to notice some sizeable discrepancies with my pressure cuff. :0(
