Well stop using body cavities as a reactor would be a good first step. :p More seriously could be signs of depression. I felt way worse when I was depressed. Also could be something like chronic fatigue syndrome too. P.S. get your vitamin-d levels checked. It’s a super common deficiency.

When I think of the joy that I experienced from my body cavity and what "nothing" I feel now... gah. It's like a light gone. I think I've always been low-key depressed but there was always this ray of hope. But now it's dawning upon me "this is it, that's life, take it or leave it" and that's just terrifying and demotivating. I feel like I have to accept that things I wanted so bad just won't happen. And with each pa…

Sorry to hear friend. It may seem hopeless but you can change things. If people can hack chatgpt you can hack your rain. ;)

Often depression is just that, a sign you need to change something. The what is hard.. Often it's our mindset. Sometimes it's healing old injuries or abuses. Sometimes it's chemical. CBT can really help. Hope you find healing.

Try a keto or even better a carnivore diet. It has been transformative for quite a few people. It doesn't work for all but it is a form of elimination diet, and at least for me, most plants cause me substantial gut & inflammation issues. There's a lot of dogma around "eat plants to feel better", but for some it's the opposite. My guts have completly healed from heavy issues after switching to 99% animal sourced diet(…

I like keto as well but would suggest more veggies and not much meat. There’s other protein choices like nuts, tofu, tempeh, hemp seeds, eggs, etc. Definitely cut sugar down to near nothing. Getting some sun and exercise in the morning helps my mood a lot. Might help.

This is reverse. The most potent form of keto is carnivore. By potent I mean there are cases where only carnivore works as a solution or is a better one compared to keto (same % of fat). Highest quality protein & fat is from red ruminant meat.

If you don't already make sure to include optimizing for twitch/fast muscle development. I've noticed it's the hardest loss to overcome for me in my 50s.

I have thought about adding power cleans. I started with Starting Strength so squats, bench, deadlift, and still mainly do those lifts, press, and some other accessory lifts. All barbell or dumbbell. Never added the power cleans though.

I just recently (last 18 months) started seeing a lot of younger lifters doing power cleans. I had almost never seen them in the gym before. Not sure where the resurgence came from but some of these kids are moving a lot of weight.

What cases? The important part is not the “quality” of protein, which is not important to most people. (Maybe if you’re a pro weightlifter.)

The important point is to eliminate excessive carbs in the diet. And might as well do that with as little harm as possible.

You're incorrect again. Example, you can't do epilepsy-keto with vegan without protein powder. Most/all plants with protein have too much carbs.

Plants are subpar nutrition wise compared to red meat especially in keto.

The least harmful diet would be carnivore.

Example are people with mental & auto-immune issues.

Recommending a harmful diet for most people in order to treat very specific diseases (when a minuscule number of people are affected) is pretty irresponsible.

Your argument has no nuance and total certainty, which tells me you haven't thought deeply enough on the problem.

You're too focused on carnivore being harmful when you yourself recommended the keto diet. I never said to go carnivore, just that it's better. I don't do it myself mostly for it's harder to maintain when traveling & stuff.

If you were just a bit interested in how keto really works and had a curiosity on advanced cases or followed pros on twitter you'd agree with me (losing weight is easy compared to fixing epilepsy/schizophrenia).

Say more about carb intake and cushion time. What % of calories?

I can't put a number on that, unfortunately. I don't do well with diets that require I keep track of all the details — it feels like a chore and I tend to give up — so I decided instead to adopt a simple rule of thumb: avoid carbs where possible. In practice, this means no breads, no pasta, no doughnuts, no sugary foods, etc. Instead, I eat more protein. This works well for me and I lost 15-20 lbs quite quickly and I…

The counterpoint is that people will report that low carbs is bad for exercise. i also feel like low-carb is the only way I can easily lose weight and don't feel hungry all the time.
