This goes to show you that out of state officials in Lake Lure in a crisis 98 % of the time use bad judgement and being stupid. I have tried many times, but you cannot fix stupid. I have been a pilot and pushed it in an emergency. That authority did not have the right to threaten the pilot. The rules are there for safety and are a reference during a crisis. Desperate times require desperate measures. I would leave no man behind in peace or combat, delivering the man to his wife with a stern look at the authority if approached.
