It's definitely worth concern but don't fall for the doomsday hype - this is the degradation of plastics. Probably nothing insidious.

PFAS is a serious concern however and is present.

PFAS is a serious concern however and is present.

True. It's a heavy concern as well since we seldom have any idea how to detect let alone getting rid of it.

The only problem is that also needed things are removed from the water. Like natrium and other things.

In Flint it was mostly because of lead poisoning, that was caused by the city pumping chemicals in the pipes that removed the protective layer. Another source was contaminated water from the flint river.
