This is true, although I would prefer to still test everyone for plausibly important things to feed data analysts who might eventually discover something useful.

In case anyone is curious, it appears a pint of blood in the US sells for $150--$300.
That seems to answer it on face value, unless the prices quoted for blood panels are very inflated due to insurance. EDIT>> Maybe a punch card? Donate N pints, get a free blood panel.
Lab companies absolutely should be included, as a co-equal, in the list of villains.

PFAS materials (teflon, high temperature o-rings, refrigeration fluids, fire-fighting foams, anti-cancer drugs and other medicines, etc.) encompass such a broad range of chemistries (anything with the fluorine atom attached to carbon) that have many many orders of magnitude differences in half-life. But how much perfluorooctane sulfonate did the study's subjects start with? I don't care if one treatment accomplished more than another until I know that at least one of them made a difference worth making.
