Technical folks get a bit enthusiastic about their jobs and hobbies. Surely you've noticed how many people seem overjoyed that RISC-V is overtaking ARM. They aren't all engineers who have to do embedded programming, many are just fans. Like there are fans of Sonic the Hedgehog or Darth Vader. There is no problem anyone is supporting anything. But as soon as you bring out some technical details and business cases that is objectively untrue, and when questioned multiple times does not stop spreading FUD or wrong information. Then it should be called out, loud and clear.
