Click Bazaar in menu bar -> Click hamburger button -> Scroll Down

Still don't see what you're talking about

When is the last time you ran

    sudo ujust upgrade
or at least

    sudo bootc upgrade
and then rebooted? I am on Bazzite 43, default desktop installation. If we are not seeing the same thing that is almost as concerning as the terminal shell exit delay.

I understand there's been drama, and someone walked away or was pushed out. I don't quite care enough to understand it all or point at guilty parties. However, my current understanding is that the project remains active, so titling this article "Post Mortem" feels a bit like it's done in bad faith as it's usually applied to projects that are over. It's certainly what I immediately assumed made it newsworthy.

Antheas was the #1 most active developer, and responsible for almost all low level integrations.

Looking at the contributor analytics: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/graphs/contributors

Doesn't look like he was, but then looking at the actual commit list: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/commits/main/?before=e49... He definitely had more than the 14 commits listed. They might've lost their email due to the conflicts & lost ownership over the commits?

Can you provide a screenshot or explain what it is for those of us who don't have a Bazzite install to check with?

Maybe some day I will make a video. A video would be required to get all the sexual preferences via mouse-over.

At this point it sounds like you're being intentionally vague. Why not just describe what you're talking about

I would be very interested to see this repeated and consistent behavior then. Because all the evidence that keeps getting passed around is someone getting an idiot once. Which seems to clearly vindicate Antheas's claim that the other devs developed a sycophantic group inside the project around them. Groups like that pull this "he was harassing everyone and making everyone quit" story seems to have zero evidence to ba…

Go to the discord server and search “antheas.” Even with its terrible search you’ll find the discussions (and his comments) illuminating. No need to take my word for it. You’ll see complaint after complaint from members of the community.

I thought I provided detailed steps. Either way my solution was to whack that machine and install CachyOS since I am very comfortable with Arch. Bazzite can be someone elses problem if they care enough. The odd delay on terminal exit and random boot up and shut down times are the only real potential problems whereas the sexual preference is just a red flag to me personally as it suggests there will be other surprises or potential shenanigans in the OS pushing some agenda which as far as I am concerned my tools do not need these things. Some people may love it.

I can't replicate whatever they're talking about, and they also won't describe it in any further detail, so I think it's safe to assume it's nonsense.
