Different teams have very different processes. The AI/Bing group is obviously much more "move fast and break things" than the OS group.

Well an anecdote by definition can't be wrong. Teams is annoying to use at times, but I don't see any constant breaking changes

It's essentially the telephone of many, with the reliability of... A telephone built to the standards of your typical web application.

You can't trust it for things like audio, file sharing or alerts which is pretty problematic

BS Manager jolts down a few lines then AI outputs pompous bullshit from the raw bullshit she wrote. 2. I get the bullshit email and then use AI to distill the bullshit down to the essential bullshit

Still a huge improvement over pre-AI state of things.

Google's announcement was in reaction to this one, I believe. That's why it felt so rushed (e.g. they hadn't even set up the waitlist yet)

I think mainly it leads to extremely high unemployment, but I geuss we'll see.

There is a product leader at my company that has started generating product documents from ChatGPT and it atrocious. Now we have product documents that are filled with pages of content vaguely related to what we are working on. They don't use it as a starting point to edit, it's copy and paste it in. They regularly "reveal" that this was all AI, when it is blatantly obvious it is. Not sure how we are supposed to be "…

If people are misusing their tools i wouldn't fault ChatGTP/MSCopilot for it.

It shouldn’t. All this will lead to us discovering what is actually valuable.
