This page would look better if they used high-quality 3d animated renders instead of the simplified 2D-graphics. Someone on the design team thought this was a great idea? It looks unpolished and out of place (in comparison to other well-done Apple product pages).
I personally think the understated 2D graphics are a cool touch. It's actually quite polished in its simplicity.
The biggest new feature im looking for is the removal of the touchbar. Until then, I’m going to just buy upgraded but used 2012-2013 macbook pros. It’s one of those sounds good on paper but useless in real life. Not only that, it’s a hindrance for coders like me who need to be able to hit the escape button and other top buttons quickly with force feedback.

Hackintosh allows you to have OS X on better hardware but these days it's really unsafe, due to the possibility of Apple going full ARM in the near future, dropping all the support for x86.

How is it different than buying a Mac now? It also won't upgrade itself to an ARM processor and they'd need to support existing macOS installations for a while anyway.

When / if Apple stop support for x86 any Apple computer purchased before they go ARM will essentially be end of life.
If you do not want to build a hackintosh because of ARM in the future you also do not want to buy a Apple x86 computer today.
