#133I don’t remember kids being out of school for so long around Thanksgiving when I was younger. All I can hope for is eight hours of sleep after a full week of childcare. I guess I’m most thankful for teachers and schools being open.

#140I've had an HN account for 17 years now. This is one of the last good places left on the web for intelligent conversation, and pretty much the last place I even want to post comments anymore honestly. Thank you @dang for the hard work on maintaining that. Hopefully this site can continue to be a bastion in an increasingly dismal social media environment.
