My comment isn't surrounded with multiple calls to action to pay me money in exchange for more of my writing. “Flippantly dismissive” is exactly the level of criticism it deserves, given the amount of cheer-leading inanity on display.
To some potentially large extent I agree with what you wrote.
Though, this guideline is perhaps violated:

The guidelines would dissuade us from making 'flippantly dismissive' comments - even if we feel they are merited.
