I always find it surprising when messages like this come to light.
It’s continually amazing to me that people listen to people like Musk and Dorsey as if they have a clue they know what they’re talking about. You can tell they have full confidence that they do, trapped in their bubble of fame.
Is he talking about ActivityPub[1, 2] and the Fediverse[3]? Just look at Mastodon[4, 5] if you're looking for something like twitter without the centralization and the corporate greed. The chat thread looked so farcical that I had to double check it wasn't a parody account. Is it possible the text has been edited? It just looks too scripted, especially since Jack Dorsey had shared his thoughts regarding Twitter being intended as a protocol publicly.
