That's a crazy idea...it just might work! I'll look into adding something like this quickly.

I think that's a terrible idea, if you want to build a business. Ask yourself "What would patio11 do?"

Yea, decided not to, but it's an interesting thought.

I can only sign up using twitter, google or github ? I have these accounts but prefer not to use them. Any plans to offer generic login ?

yea, we will be soon. I think the last thing I had up here had the opposite reaction (wanting oauth rather than yet another login) :)

The service looks awesome - congrats!

You can add Email & Password style accounts super easily using https://www.dailycred.com (this is my startup). You can use it just like your other OAuth providers, so it would really only take a few minutes to set up.

I noticed the "Try Jetstrap free today!" then I saw you mention "Our first thought was $10/mo for 100 screens" [1] which I think is not only underpriced but the wrong pricing structure. You should implement something like this: - User signs up - gets 5 - 10 FREE Screens. - Once they've used up their FREE screens take them to a page to purchase more screens. - When they have 1-2 FREE Screens remaining you should have…

Thank you so much for the feedback. I was hesitant to throw out pricing thoughts just yet, but I'm really glad we did.

Saw this from a few HN threads down. May be helpful?

Personally I like the "Utility Pricing" (per article) for something like Jetstrap but maybe on a per project basis instead of per screen?

Pretty cool - looks like it has come a long way since the Alpha.

What I'd like to see added would be an easy way to change the colour/font etc of elements to make them less bootstrappy.

It looks like there's a built-in css editor (look in the lower right) so you can do something like this pretty easily:

.btn {color: red;}

This looks great. I noticed the "try it for free." Are there plans to turn this into a paid product at some point? How limited is the trial?

My usage would be very occasional, maybe once every two or three months, for an intense day or two. I'd have no problem forking over $50 to use it each time, but it would be very annoying to pay $10/month for months when I have no usage at all. See the paradox? I'd pay more , maybe $200/year, instead of $120, not to have to worry about getting billed forever for something I'm not using. If you could come up with some…

So you turn the billing on, then you turn it off. Three months from now you turn it on again. I've used lots of services on this model.

Yes, we will eventually charge for it once we work out some of the kinks in the beta. Our first thought was $10/mo for 100 screens (though I agree with the feedback below, so this will probably go up). Any feedback on that?

Does everything have to be subscription based now? I know it is good for revenue, but it sure is a poor experience for the user. I would rather just pay $10 for 100 screens, if that is what you are charging, rather than tack on the /mo charge. When I run out, I buy more. Offer volume discounts for extreme purchasing over time, perhaps, but don't make me subscribe for light use. That's my initial feedback.

Subscription pricing is popular for the same reason Bootstrap is popular: Your customers, the ones who need the tool, don't care how strikingly original its design or business model is. They just want it to work.

Subscriptions work, everyone understands them, there is infrastructure to support them. Just sell them. Do not get cute with your pricing model without a very good reason, backed by data.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm going through the issues reported in the comments here and trying to reproduce and fix them. Some I'm having a hard time reproducing :(

I made you a screenshot of expanded traces: http://i.imgur.com/YMavW.png Hope that helps

Upvoted for the effort :)

Same!

I asked for this via Twitter and when I got that email today it was like Christmas. But then I read the email and went to the site, and was so sad they didn't do anything like this :(

Is this in the pipeline?

As mentioned below, you can modify the CSS of your project to do this, but we don't have any LESS integration built in just yet.
