Nearly ordered one. Last minute I though "Is this phone going to anything my nexus 4 can't?" And the answer was nope for me

Part of the problem is since Verizon is CDMA and there's not really SIM cards, they can just say: "Your ESN doesn't look like a device we want to support, you can't activate it, sucks to be you"
This is completely false. Verizon uses SIM cards for many devices.
You don't have to deal with this kind of nonsense with GSM carriers so long as you have an unlocked phone you're good to go.

#105As an African/Nigerian I am not even allowed to see what it looks like. Talk less of trying to make a purchase [1]. Last Night, I had to lie that I am in the US so I would be allowed to by Remote by 37Signals on my kindle. Quite ridiculous and annoying. http://imgur.com/eS8agor
That's how it looks for everyone outside the US.

#1075in screen... Man. I'm quite content with my 4.7'' screen. Why are we slowly and steadily moving the sizes of our phone screens up? A year or two ago we were happily at 4.3
I believe the device itself is smaller, they've just thinned the bezel and made the screen use the entire front surface of the device.

#109I like expansion and that was one of the main reasons I gave up my iPhone 4 for a S4.

The device was available for about 20 minutes before running out. Sounds identical to the Nexus 4 so far...
No. The 16GB black sold out temporarily. All models are currently available (72 minutes after launch), but with a "leaves warehouse by 11/8" instead of 11/5 ship date.
