If your app is CPU intensive then why wouldn't you look at dedicated ? Switching to Linode is always a terrible idea considering how disgraceful their security and business practices are.

I use linode as well and, given that I follow the industry at least as much as the average HN user, I'm very surprised I haven't heard of these 'disgraceful' practices.

Could you please elaborate?

We've done this for over 10 years now.
