SEEKING WORK - Remote, US-based

Remote: Yes (have worked exclusively remotely for past 14 years)

Willing to relocate: No

I've been doing backend work for the past 14 years, with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework. I'm intimately familiar with schema and data migrations, including migrations between Django projects. I've done a lot of full-stack work as well, with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and React.js. I've worked extensively with startups and I've worked with Twitter. I have a lot of experience working with distributed teams and am open to occasional travel. Available full (~32hrs) or part time. Interested in Python work or full-stack with Python.

SEEKING WORK | Chennai, India | Remote

Technologies: Java, Golang, Angular, SpringBoot, Python, Django, Flask, SQL/NOSQL, OpenAPI, LLMs
    Projects: https://home.alles-tools.com/
    Email: suvarnanarayanan2g (at) gmail.com

I'm a backend developer for the most part but I also do full stack development if the UI isn't highly complex. Before I got laid off - I was making it @ Autodesk.

I have quite some experience dealing with LLM based applications - taming them into giving more sane answers. The best one that I have built so far lets you attach to any data sources (SQL/NoSQL/Files) etc and then just ask questions about them. Literally any question (even outside the schema) and it never makes up stuff.

My going rate at the moment is $5 per hour (subject to complexity and my preference) - capped at 8 hours a day for 5 days a week, which is around $200/wk at minimum.

I am very transparent about my work and I do not ask for payment beforehand and no compulsion to pay if work is not up to your standards. Also, before I take you as my client, we will do a call - this helps me to have a measure at your expectations/requirements and helps to build a bond which is something I really value.

If you prefer - you could directly schedule a meet @ https://calendly.com/suvarnanarayanan2g/30min?month=2025-07

If you cannot make the slots to work for the calendar above, please shoot me an email and I will do a meet at a time you are comfortable with. Cheers!
