IIRC with the high frequencies of modern processors switching losses tend to be a larger factor than resistive losses. If you can remove the resistive losses that leaves you with a greater heat budget from switching losses which might help drive up frequency even more.

Switch losses are also resistance losses, they just get amplified by things like the skin effect.

tl;dr: The only change, aside from the increased number of broken bookmarks, is that the misleading Fig. 4a in the page 7 has been splitted into Fig. 4a and 4b with different axes.

What's up with "Error! Bookmark not defined"? Is this some kind of trolling? I guess its presence in the first version is understandable if it was posted in hurry, but why leave it in the revised version?

It's a feedback loop. Experimental results suggest new theories, which suggest new experiments to test those theories.

Well put. I'd add that theories can produce predictions, and if the predictions can be proved experimentally, all the better for the theory.

Or perhaps even stronger - theories _should_ produce predictions.

It's only a superconductor at milliamps, so we'll need another material for your high energy examples. The biggest deal would be providing a trajectory to materials science.

If it would be reliable working at milliamps, I am sure it can be put to practical use in my sci fi scenarios eventually (1000 cables with 1 milliamps each should add up to 1 amp?). Of course, unless it all just is a quirky side effect, that can never be put to practical use.

Your [2] source only mentions statistics since 2012. It's disingenuous to think this could spread down to 1901 if you wish to use the 1.8% as a point to argue.

Society was very different a hundred years ago. Women's access to education amongst other things has improved severely over time, and we do have seen an increase in female Nobel laureates compared to the earlier days.

It's a matter of time.
