He's not "bait[ing] even more clicks to his blog". He's reacting to a HN comment from his previous post: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7405846. He even linked to it in the footnote.

Obviously you've already made up your mind about Marco and consider anything he ever writes to be garbage, but claiming that a title like "and" is click-baiting is completely nonsensical. As is complaining about his writing without even paying the slightest bit of attention to it.

The title is a direct response to a(n) HN comment made in response to the last front-page hitting post.

So the title is intentional, non click-baity and a humourous riposte. Care to change your analysis?

If you read the footnotes, he's purposely trolling HN with the title, based on yesterday's discussion.

He also (intentionally) misidentifies HN user "scottjad" as "scootjad," which keeps making me chuckle.

Is Marco putting out ground-breaking, must-read content on a regular basis? No. But he does occasionally make a good point. What I'm more interested in understanding is why you are so filled with hatred for him? He seems to attract well more than his fair share of vitriol. Why the hate?
