Good luck with the ambulance chasing lawyers in the US. Also, India's drugs are cheaper.
Why are India's drugs cheaper? Is their patent system different than in the US? Or does the government dictate the price drugs can be sold at?

#16Well you can hire a software engineer in India for $10/hr. I think cost of living should have been at least mentioned in this article.
While not as expensive as Manhattan or London, relative to Indian salaries everything is getting expensive.

The success rates are high and on par with western counter parts. Also this is a private hospital , I think you haven't visited a good private hospital in a developing country. Many have US/Uk trained docs and quality of service and care on par with that of developed countries.

Incidently, if you read the article, you will see such claim:
"Essentially we realised that as you do more numbers, your results get better and your cost goes down," he said.
However, the details on how good their care is very lacking.
