I think one of the biggest reasons personal websites are making a comeback is AI-powered web coding. More and more non-technical people can now build things they’ve always wanted to build, including their own websites. As a non-technical person myself, I built my own website simply because I’ve always loved building things, but never really had the medium or technical skills to do it. Now I do and the medium is Claud…

Can’t you fucking people go five seconds without making everything about Claude code? I mean Jesus fucking Christ next thing I’ll hear is that Claude code is responsible for the weather. As if nobody made personal websites because html and CSS was too difficult. Ever heard of FrontPage? Fuck me.

Well, seeing how these data centers are being run with coal, Claude might have to soon take some responsibility for the weather..

Claude or whatever favorite agent help people build things faster. The commenter clearly said > "More and more non-technical people can now build things they’ve always wanted to build" this is referring to projects, don't think FrontPage is gonna cut it here. Btw, isn't FrontPage like a really outdated legacy WYSIWYG thing?, anyway

That was a ‘nearlyepic’ response—Lord’s name in vain, check. Foul language, check. Dino tech, check…

I love Claude code and I hate front end development—JavaScript with it.

I for one welcome our front-end development Overlords.

Please point out where I mentioned JavaScript at all. You don’t need it for anything qualifying as a personal website, I.e. not a web app.

You missed the fact that this is a comment thread under an article about personal websites. Personal websites =/= web app projects.
