#12The interesting thing about “Algvandringen” is that you can hear “Elk wandering” in it, showing the evolutionary similarities of two Germanic languages.
Elk meant moose until English speakers came to north America and started calling wapitis for elk. A lot of animals in areas that was colonized are named like that.

#13I can't help but feel they may have missed the bulk of them. It's been a very early spring this year, we've been seeing weather that's probably 4-6 weeks ahead of the normal curve since March.
Oof. That's concerning.
