"The screeching of peeling tape is a familiar albeit annoying sound." I don't find it annoying, I quite like it. The only time I've experienced "ASMR" was from somebody peeling tape next to me.

Agree, it really depends on the tape for me. Painters tape has quite a nice sound as it's peeled

I really like the doppler effect (?) of the sound as the tape gets longer.

#15I remember buying the Scotch Magic Tape, the matte one. I was surprised that it didn't make the sound. Probably because it's a little bit more flexible?
Super pleasant, did not make the rip crackle squeal sound at all.
