Do we celebrate by joining the army? No, wait, that's 23 Feb.

I think that was intended to be a joke, but in all seriousness military service can be a great way for men (and women of course too, but we're talking about men here :) ) to serve. Military service is about much more than going to war and fighting in combat. Humanitarian missions are common. Many medical and technological advances have come from the military. It is also a great mentorship program for young adults. I've seen so many troubled individuals find their way and their calling by serving in the military. The military is also one of the best ways to obtain valuable job skills. Of course it's certainly not for everyone, but I have no regrets about my service in the military.

Now, if only we could stop associating men with the color blue. I’m a man, and when I’m not wearing black my colors are pink and mustard.

No, I like blue, and what you're wearing has nothing to do with it... but pink and mustard are a terrible combination, and that means you're as masculine as it gets ;)

Thanks for the perspective; yes, it was a joke, but one that may have required too much knowledge of "likely adversaries"*: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defender_of_the_Fatherland_Day...

* combined with jeans, this could also be a meta-joke:

— Lt. Rzhevsky! Why not in uniform? And even wearing jeans; national costume of most likely adversary!

— Col. Isaev, Sir! Jeans here: most likely war trophy.

Judging from the first few seconds of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIzuNHm4lng , in the 1990s motorcycle brands in the east were mostly slavic: Minsk, Voskhod, Planeta, etc. but clothing brands were mostly western: NBA, Adidas, Nike, etc.

Earlier quoted context omitted.

Can you explain?

I guess it is stemming from left leaning influencers on social media blaming white men for all ails in the world.

Ah, I get it, it's getting really stale when racists/misandrist wrap themselves in leftist clothes...sad.
