Once upon a time, when Tesla was a young company trying to sell an expensive car that was fast, nifty, and nowhere near the build quality or level of polish as its similarly-priced competitors, Tesla offered truly excellent service. I have a rebuilder in California I can connect you with who has helped me source parts (including restricted HV components) if you need help. Also have someone in NC who is a battery pack expert if needed.

No doubt Tesla service has gone to hell since the early days. Most unfortunate.

I have a rebuilder in California I can connect you with who has helped me source parts (including restricted HV components) if you need help. Also have someone in NC who is a battery pack expert if needed. No doubt Tesla service has gone to hell since the early days. Most unfortunate.

I may take you up on that if Tesla doesn’t come through. Although I have no desire to muck with the HV system myself.

Just don’t reverse into water by mistake. https://jalopnik.com/teslas-gear-shifting-problems-known-lon... How these are deemed roadworthy I do not know.

Doesn’t the car display the reversing cameras and make the reversing noise when in reverse? It’s pretty obvious in a Model Y when you’re in reverse.

The unexpected reverse angle was just speculation last I heard.
