Even if your page lasted 100 years, your cert wouldn’t. Who knows what DNS, or the equivalent to IP looks like in the 22nd century.

Eh, websites (and all things) come and go.

As long as someone cares to maintain them, they will be there. And if nobody cares to maintain them, well, may others rise in their place.

http://paulgraham.com actually fails if you try to access it via HTTPS. Maybe that's one way to get around the problem.

Is there really no way to date a cert for a century?

Maybe the Long Now Foundation could start a 10k years hosting plan. That would be very interesting. Also being a sysadmin for a 10k server park would be a interesting job.

Humanity have traditionally solved this problem by having children and putting in their will "please make sure my HTML page is still up and running until 2123".

Nope, they top out at 398 days. I think there's even been some talk about limiting them to 90 days.

IPFS perhaps?

IPFS only retains data as long as it is pinned by users.
