Some people are losing job offers for showing support to Hamas terrorists.
It's advisable to maintain a separation between those things if you care about the fate of Palestine or civilians. If you conflate Palestinians with Hamas, you are condemning all Palestinians as terrorists. If you support civilians you are naturally against terrorists who use them as human shields.
