Reading this on HACK right now, love the app! I’ve actually ditched Octal, specifically because of this notification feature.

It's odd that HN itself doesn't provide this. You can get at a user's comments using: " rel="nofollow noreferrer">https://news.ycombinator.com/threads?id= Furthermore, there is an API. RSS is just a different representation of the same thing.
