Wouldn't any largest online discourse location be the biggest outlet of disinformation?

X is smaller than Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, Snapchat.

I'd expect, all else being equal, for Facebook to be the biggest source of disinformation by the nature of being like 10x bigger than Twitter/X.

I did notice some groups of accounts synchronously shift into Russian-Ukraine war topic while posting previously on some unrelated subjects (like crypto, stocks in general, internal US politics, health, etc.)

It's not like the Russian-Ukrainian war is a niche, disconnected topic. With 0.135 trillion USD given to Ukraine, it does affect every sector like "crypto, stocks in general, internal US politics, health, etc." How did you notice this "synchronous shift"?

In this thread: enlightened centrists.

Is that supposed to be a dig? So you’re advocating for zealotry? Weird take.

So you're saying that the only two alternatives are you either call it 50-50 or you're a zealot? Weird take.

It's the first time I saw someone counting it in trillions.

When certain (randomly picked by me) set of accounts for a year talks about "gender something...", "man something else...", "2nd Amendment...", "new use of chat AI..." or just some memes and all together (perceived by me empirically) start to translate "Instead of sending help to Ukraine Biden should send help to deal with Hawaii/SF fentanyl.../South border...", I jump to conclusions. Without mentioning Ukraine all these problems are real and do require some form of government intervention. The moment Ukraine appears in the discourse it makes one wonder how shipping M142 HIMARS or MGM-140 ATACMS to Hawaii would help.
