This is a story of Jonathan Manzi being sentenced to prison for 18 months for accessing his ex-employees DropBox account, after he found out his company’s IP was stolen. In some ways, reminds me of Aaron Swartz's case.

If someone steals something from you, the law doesn't allow you to break into their house in an attempt to try to steal it back.
1) The "revenge" crime involves intruding upon accounts maintained by third parties -- in this case, cell carriers, Google, and Dropbox.
2) The theft of IP was suspected, not proven, and accessing those accounts would, at best, only confirm that it had occurred.
I believe the author should seek therapy, a lot of this read like a borderline manic rant.
