So cringy. Should we also add badges for doing it without autocomplete, syntax highlighting. Hell, why even bother with text, if you didn't develop it by punching cards then you're not a real developer.

Not sure if this is good idea as it provided self identified data from bots to harvest

Well, at least we won't make AI learn on AI-generated data because that, I imagine, would deteriorate quality pretty rapidly.

1. There is nothing to stop someone putting this on >10%-AI generated material.

2. The same argument could be made for "Not with a Computer" and invalidate this website based on identical principles.

3. The future AI brings is a huge unknown, but as we've seen with every major technological advance so far, it's never been nearly as bad as the most fearful and skeptical thought it would be at the time this was unknown.

Your new mission as a human is to write is such a way that nobody suspects you are an LLM. When you are done writing, ask an LLM to write on the subject you have addressed, and if the output is similar, scrap yours and start over. If you need a badge to alert people to your humanity then you have been acting like a robot, a behavioral deficiency only you can correct.

I realize this is in jest, but to point out the obvious, ML (AI is such a bullshit term. ANI/AGI/ASI, etc) models are trained on human written text. With ANI or AGI, this rapidly devolves into a chicken or the egg scenario. You know what else does? The cold war & arms proliferation. By the time ASI is actualized, humans will no longer be writing at all and languages as we know them will be obsolete.

There is a lot of evidence that language drives cognition and there have already been instances of ANIs creating their own efficient languages. Imagine that the year is 2040 and euclidian encryption is augmented via transcoding into AI languages to safeguard against quantum computing or replaced with quantum-resistant algorithms altogether. A turing complete quantum processor was actualized a few years ago, or we just finally figured out that ML and the probabilistic nature of Quantum Computing are a perfect fit. People tend to vastly underestimate the rate of progress over 10+ years.

> If humans rely solely on AI to generate content moving forward, any new content generated by AI may just be recycled content from the past.

To be honest, I’d struggle to find any human content that is not recycled from the past. I guess we are still better than AI at remixing sufficiently novel combinations of concepts but I think much of this AI content aversion comes from some kind of phobia, or an unwillingness to admit humans are shockingly unoriginal.

Ctrl+F "content" -> 31 matches. I disagree with your diction which makes me doubt the overall veracity of intent here but good luck with your efforts to promote differentiation.
