My favourite thing about this is how proud he is of copying this idea from a million people on TikTok.

He's a bit mainstream, it's not so different from a million other mainstream artist picking up on underground trends

Very mainstream!

The music industry will not like this, seems like a short circuit around royalties and the value of a music deal with an artist.

Which artist will be the first to sell a licensed LLM (and other models?) trained on their own discography?

You can do it yourself use a track of your fav rapper without background music and feed it into tortoise-tts and play with the heat.

You could use https://vocalremover.org/ to remove music. I've used it for sampling speech out of tv programmes with background audio and the results are immense.

I saw this via a LinkedIn post which said it used ChatGPT and uberduck.ai, the search on there doesn’t seem to work for posts so I can’t find the original source unfortunately, but it would make sense that he used those tools

I don't see why he would need ChatGPT, seems like a short enough snippet to just write it yourself

It is like in the early youtube days where everyone was just waiting who is going to shut them down.

That's probably why it's newsworthy.

All The Cool Kids Are Using It so he needs to, as well.

Whoa, tried https://vocalremover.org/splitter-ai on a couple tracks and it sounds better than Spleeter, Demucs and Serato. What model do they use?

Guetta is not saying it's the real deal. The creativity, is his usage of the tools available. He could have hired an impersonator, it's the same thing (in my opinion).
